It is with great sorrow that we wish to notify the Hidden Valley family of the death of long time friend and Trustee, Dr. Robert Calfee. Bob's lifetime of experience in education and administration was countless times the source of wise guidance for Hidden Valley. His deep caring for the arts and the young talents who give life, purpose, and beauty to those arts was an inspiration to all of us who work here. His generosity of spirit and unfailing support contributed again and again to Hidden Valley's growth.
A memorial service is planned December 6, 1 pm at Valley Presbyterian Church, 945 Portola Road, Portola Valley CA 94028
On a very personal level, Bob was my wife, Adrienne's, dissertation advisor and mentor during her PhD studies at Stanford. He was a friend who will be deeply missed.
