Hidden Valley is pleased to offer its annual workshop featuring classes for recorder, viola da gamba and harpsichord. The seminar includes Baroque chamber ensembles, separate Renaissance consort classes for recorder and viola da gamba, continuo classes for harpsichordists, evening activities including faculty concert, lecture/demonstrations and a student concert. This workshop is designed for advanced amateurs and pre-professionals.

Location

Hidden Valley is located in beautiful Carmel Valley, California, just 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Connecting flights to nearby Monterey airport are available from either San Francisco or Los Angeles.
Participants are housed in very simple dorm-style, double occupancy rooms - each with private bath. Meals are provided starting with Saturday dinner on check-in day and ending with brunch on the following Saturday.



Registration

The workshop will open with registration from 2:00 - 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 13.
A non-refundable $300 deposit is due upon acceptance and the balance of $550 is due August 3, 2005, 10 days before the opening date of class. A registration packet will be sent upon receipt of application.
