George Young

A world-renown saxophonist, George Young began playing when he was 6 and, as a young man, became one of the top studio saxophonists in the business. He was a regular in the Saturday Night Live band, performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, and recorded and toured with many of the world's top musicians. Among them are Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavarotti, James Brown, Liza Minelli, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, James Taylor, Stanley Turrentine, Paul Simon, and John Lennon. George has earned a reputation as a brilliant teacher and coach of aspiring saxophone players.
