Hidden Valley Campus Housing

Waddell Center Residence Hall. All 17 lodging rooms in the Waddell Center are small, simple and cheery. Each room has two twin beds, a dresser, and bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. All rooms exit directly to a deck or walk via sliding glass door, which can be locked from the inside but when we go out we leave them unlocked.  Each room has an individually controlled heater, bed linens and towels. If you will need an alarm clock or hair dryer, you should bring these with you.

Lubow Lodge. Constructed in 2020 & 2021, this beautiful new residential center has six spacious double-occupancy rooms, each with a queen bed, a twin bed, individually controlled heater, full mirror with closet, desk, and bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. All rooms exit directly to a deck or walk. Doors can be locked from the inside but when we go out we leave them unlocked. Each room has an individually controlled heater, bed linens and towels.  If you will need an alarm clock or hair dryer, you should bring these with you.

Our campus is non-smoking. All buildings on our campus are single story. Our campus provides free wireless internet access. There is a computer and printer available for the use of our guests. There are no telephones in the rooms.  If you do not have a cell phone, important calls may be directed to our main office (831) 659-3115 and we will post messages immediately on the door to your room.  Outgoing calls may be made from the front office.  Additional nights in a Waddell Center or Lubow Lodge room outside the dates of the program you are attending can be arranged, on a space available basis.  You may call (831) 659-3115 or email your request to info@hiddenvalleymusic.org.


Off-Campus Housing

Hidden Valley Inn

Some Hidden Valley Music Seminar programs which have more people than can be accommodated on campus, may use the inn next door for overflow housing. Note: The only Road Scholar program which uses the inn is the Recorder/Early Music Workshop #6254. Hidden Valley Inn is adjacent to the Hidden Valley campus; a short walking path connects the two.  All rooms are 1 king, non-smoking and offer an in-room coffeemaker, hairdryer, cable TV, iron and ironing board, and free wireless internet. If you are housed at the Inn and need to come early or stay an extra day or two after the program, you may make those arrangements directly with the staff at the Inn. Let them know which group and the dates of the program you will attend. They may be reached at (831) 659-5361. *Although we are neighbors and share the name 'Hidden Valley', the inn is an independently owned & operated business from us.

Please note: Hidden Valley Inn rooms are all 1 king bed. A few rooms have a trundle couch which folds out into a nice twin bed and rollaway beds are available upon request.

Los Laureles Lodge

Some Hidden Valley Music Seminar programs which have more people than can be accommodated on campus, may use the Los Laureles Lodge for overflow housing. Note: The only Road Scholar program which uses the lodge is Monterey Jazz Festival #4628. Los Laureles Lodge is located approx. 1 mile West of Hidden Valley's campus on Carmel Valley Road (2 minute drive).  All rooms are non-smoking and offer wireless internet and in room refridgerators. The lodge does NOT provide shampoo/conditioner or hair dryers. If you are housed at the lodge and need to come early or stay an extra day or two after the program, you may make those arrangements directly with the staff at the lodge.
