Big Band Dinner & Dance

Why stroll back in time when you can swing back in time, to the sizzling standards of Duke Ellington, Tommy Dorsey, and Benny Goodman.   This evening-dinner dance features 1940's style Big Band tunes performed by the Road Scholar Big Band, under the capable baton of Conductor Elmer Ramsey.  Elmer had his own 40s-style Big Band at age 17 and, at 19, made a West Coast tour with Mel Torme, and has worked with Shirley Jones, John Raitt, Florence Henderson and Julie Andrews.  Dancing starts at 7:30 pm.

The dinner, served promptly at 6:30 pm, is set up cabaret style in Hidden Valley Theatre includes Roast Turkey, Roast Beef, Green Salad, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy.

Wine is served from a no host bar.
