The Hartnell Community Choir presents concerts spanning five centuries from early baroque to jazz. Tonight's program features works by John Jacob Niles, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Francis Poulenc, Mark Hayes, and a traditional spiritual arranged by Joseph Martin
The Hartnell Community Choir has performed in Avery Fisher Hall, Steinbeck Center, Hartnell College and local churches on the Monterey Peninsula. Robin McKee Williams, director, is presently a part of the Distinguished Concerts International New York mentoring program and continues her studies with Michael Adelson of New York. Clarie Vincent is the organist at the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Salinas as well as the accompanist for the Hartnell Community Choir.
HCC is dedicated to enriching the community with music. A reception will follow the performance. Proceeds from this concert will benefit Hidden Valley.
