Masters' Festival Concert- Stephen Geber - June 23, 2014 (Hidden Valley Music Seminars, an Institute of the Arts)

Many of the great musicians of our time have presented classes and performances at Hidden Valley. Our Masters' Festival Series continues the tradition this summer with six concerts featuring music for English Horn, Cello, Oboe, Bassoon, Flute, and Clarinet. These master musicians leave their symphony orchestras behind to bring you an intimate evening of music focused on solo & duo instruments as you've never heard them before.

June 23 Stephen Geber

Stephen Geber, head of Cleveland Institute of Music's cello department, was principal cello and held the Louis D. Beaumont Chair for The Cleveland Orchestra for thirty years. His tenure at Cleveland followed eight years as cellist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

For this evening's peformance, Mr Geber is joined by pianist Elizabeth DeMio in a program including Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Schumann. The complete program is available in the Event Detail section on the right hand side of this page.
